Heimdall's Shrine of the Gods
We come before you Heindall,
You hear even our slightest whisper.
You are the sleepless guardian,
Keep watch over us at night.
You have the sight of a falcon,
Support us to watch out for ourselves.
You have a bright golden smile,
Remind us to keep ours whatever life brings.
You stand as sentry at the rainbow bridge.
Give us a warm welcome when we come home.
Michael Schütz
Visit the shrines of the Gods, read the words of others and leave some yourself. Wherever we are we are connected by the Gods.

23.02.201314 a request to Heimdall: I am going in for a job as a bouncer. Heimdall bless me with the ability to guard the way as you do that I may bring money to mine wife. Hail Mighty Watcher |

12.06.201288 A prayer to Heimdall: Do You weep from on high, Father of Men, when You see all that Your children have wrought? It `s said that You gave us division created the haves and have-nots. Is this what You intended or have we failed to pay attention to the rest of the story? You made us all brothers and yet we turn our eyes away. Do You look down upon us in our need and listen to the cries that the rest of us ignore? How can You not, Watchful One, when Your ears can hear the footfall of the sunrise?
Protect Your children from our own folly, I pray. Maris Pái |

21.05.2012365 A thanks to Heimdall: Heimdallr, You who are the guardian of the bridge, the gatekeeper, a God of boundaries. You extended your hand and took me in, as a fluttering bird to breast you eased my soul. The brightest of Gods, you are the most holy of my devotion. For this, I thank you.
On one thing you are wrong, my love. It is not that other, but you, who give me worth. |

20.05.2012366 A thanks to Heimdall: Sound-Wise
I have heard it all Listen closely The echos of Ymir `s roar Reverberate still in the mountains. The grass of centuries Told me its stories.
My mind `s ear remembers The hiss of the first spear cast The murmur of Mimir `s well Hangatyr `s scream on the Tree Bragi `s music Balder `s last breath.
Witness I was For prayers of mortals And curses of gods, Oaths spoken and broken The heartbeat of worlds And Naglfar `s hammering.
Then, all Hel breaking loose Howling, crowing Drowning in Gjallarhorn `s sound The deafening din of battle And then, at last Silence.
